CALL FOR SPEAKERS:

 

Do you have something unique to say to the birth community?  We invite you to submit an application to speak at the upcoming ICAN conference, April 24th-26th  2009, which will be held at the gorgeous Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Atlanta, GA.

We are looking for dynamic and inspiring keynote speakers as well as breakout session presenters with a wide variety of perspectives.  ICAN’s conferences appeal to both consumers and professionals and we are committed to supporting new ideas and opinions to help us in solving our maternal-health crisis. 

The International Cesarean Awareness Network is a non-profit advocacy and support group whose mission is to improve maternal and child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, provide support for cesarean recovery, and promote vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). Every year we give support and information to thousands of women through our main office, local chapters, and online support. We provide impartial information, based on the latest research, which is easy to access for women and their care providers.
