VBAC at AF Hospital

I had a VBAC here with Dr. William Parker who is very supportive of VBACs. However, I had to have internal monitoring (therefore they break your water as soon as you are admitted) and that was very frustrating. Hard to work with pain when you are strapped to the bed. The internal monitoring was the hospital’s policy.

I had a baby at AF and am planing on having another one. With my first i did not have to have interenal montering, and was told i will not have to have it with my second unless complications arise…..i asked to not have one with the first, if you speak up there they listen
