It is disappointing that

It is disappointing that Washington  Regional (on this site) is listed as saying Willow Creek will do VBACs.  Willow Creek is supposed to be a leader in this area for progressive birthing practices.

Hoping

I LOVE this hospital, but am very dissapointed in ther VBAC Ban.  I am hoping that when I have my next child, I will be able to have a VBAC at this hospital.  And there are Dr.s who practice at this hospital who support VBACs, but they are not allowed to do them in the hospital, so they schedule repeat C-Sections.  When I had my son in February 2008, his heart rate kept dropping, so I opted for a C-Section and was never told that I could not attempt a VBAC with subsequent deliveries because of my choice.  Also, my epidural did not work, and I felt every bit of the labor, which I thought was tolerable.  Next time, I plan on using the same hospital, but refusing the C-Section and enduring natural childbirth without an epidural as long as it does not pose an inherent risk to my baby.
