According to the Woman’s Group manager who I just spoke with. There is an unwritten policy that all of the Sparks Woman’s Group physicians follow. They will not under any circumstances do a VBAC. Even if a patient arrives in labor, if they are anything less than a progression of 10, a repeat cesarean WILL be done or the patient will have to go to another facility. They "say" that they do this because they do not have anesthesiologist on staff 24 hours nor a NICU for emergencies.
