Vbac
My Ob/gyn’s office is located at Springhill Memorial Hospital Mobile,AL. She fully supported my decision to VBAC, however, I work at Mobile Infirmary in the same city and state and they do not allow VBAC. Because I had health insurance through my employer, they would not cover 100% of the birth if I wanted to deliver at Springhill Hospital. I had to have another VBAC 8/18/08. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I didn’t realize until months later that we could have used my husband insurance as primary and we could have delivered at Springhill. Lesson learned, unfortunatley the more C-sections you have the less likely you can VBAC ( or so I’ve read). We’ll try again in 3 years, maybe things will be different. I’ll let you guys know how it works out.
